Milwaukee Senior Portraits - Urban Ecology Center

Senior year is a milestone worth celebrating, and I had the honor of capturing that excitement in a senior photo session in Milwaukee. This senior photo session was from 2023 and was a mix of candid and posed shots at 12pm, so the lighting was nearly perfect to highlight their personality and confidence. For this shoot, we chose to go to the Urban Ecology Center - Riverside Park in Milwaukee, to get some tree cover to soften the light and provide some natural backdrops to add some interest.

The Experience

One of the best parts of senior sessions is watching someone step in front of the camera and really own the moment. We started with some relaxed, casual shots to ease into the session, then moved into more dynamic poses that brought out their confidence. A mix of natural laughter, thoughtful expressions, and a few classic poses gave us a well-rounded gallery of images.

Favorite Shot

My favorite shot from this session was the photo of him wearing his Marquette sports coat, looking directly at the camera. It was a moment of stillness, or a confident stance that made them look ready to take on whatever comes next.
