Café Corazón - Photos of Menu - Spring 2023
Café Corazón has three locations in the Milwaukee area, specifically in Bayview, Brown Deer and Riverwest. It was opened by George and Wendy Mireles in 2009 in Riverwest. Pulling inspiration from living in the San Francisco Bay Area, they sought to bring fresh Latin cuisine to Milwaukee. Using beef and produce from Wendy's family's farm, supporting local farmers, and growing produce at their urban garden, Café Corazón has been committed to serving the freshest local fare for both meat eaters and vegan/vegetarians.
This was the second official free session I managed with the help of a photography assistant. The primary purpose of this photoshoot was to take photos of chosen menu items to update Google search results and improve imagery on DoorDash. This was also the first time I took photos of drinks. Looking at the pictures now, I can see the flaws in how the camera was rotated and how I could have improved the composition. Given the setting and materials I had (A single flash, a counter, and a table), I did fairly well in capturing the food. It was a considerable improvement from the previous session restaurant, which I did for free, to start taking photos of great food! Below are the final photos and the impact of catered search results on Google.
